Refereeing at Bundy Cup?

Register online through MySideline. Each nominated team must supply at minimum 1 referee per team. Referee registration is free.

To referee at Bundy Cup you must:

  • Hold a Level 1 – 6 TFA Badge
  • Junior Division – Must be a minimum TFA level 1+ referee
  • Open & Social Division – Must be a minimum TFA level 2 referee
  • Minimum of 16 years of age

Referee registrations will open 31 October 2023 and will close 17 January 2024.

Note: During the registration process when you are asked ‘Are you representing a club or team?’, please ensure you include the team you are representing.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION

Referees are to attend the referee meeting at 7:15am on Saturday morning prior to games commencing and must be available for all two (2) days of the competition.

UNIFORM

Referees will be required to wear the official TFA Pink and Black Uniform. 

GAME DURATION

All games will be 25 minutes in duration, 2-minute half time break, including all finals (subject to team nominations and draw structure).25

UPGRADES

Bundaberg Cup is a TFA Level 3 Referee Badge upgrade event. During the online registration, you must indicate if you wish to go for a level upgrade.

Note: Referees must have completed the relevant TFA Level Referee Badge Course and meet the minimum eligibility criteria to be considered for an upgrade assessment.

All upgrade requests must be endorsed by the Regional Referee Director accompanied by two (2) TFA Badge Level Checklists.

MATCH PAYMENTS

Referee payment:

  • Dual: $15.00 per game
  • Triple: $10.00 per game

RULES

The Touch Football Australia Playing Rules (8th Edition) will be in play at this tournament. The current TFA Code of Conduct must also be adhered to for the duration of the tournament.
