BUNDABERG CUP IS BACK FOR 2025
One of Australia’s richest competitions, the Bundaberg Cup, remains in its namesake hometown in 2025 thanks to the support and partnership of My Health for life, Tourism and Events Queensland & local community support from McGrath Realty.
Since its inception in 2015, the Bundaberg Cup has enticed participants from across Queensland to the Greg Duncan Touch Fields as they vie for the chance to win one of Australia’s Largest Touch Football Cash Competitions. The Bundaberg Cup provides players with an opportunity to play social touch football in a carnival style atmosphere. From under 12’s through to Masters in Men’s, Women’s and Mixed divisions the event is a great way to connect with friends & family and is open to all affiliated and non-affiliated teams.
Heading into its 9th year, the Bundy Cup will attract over 2,800 individuals to Bundaberg for the two-day event: providing a major boost to the region’s tourism industry.
Greg Denny, CEO of Queensland Touch Football said he was looking forward to the event happening once again.
“I’m thrilled that we are able to continue to deliver the event which has gathered a cult following in the Bundaberg Region. I am thankful to My Health For Life, Tourism and Events Queensland and McGrath Realty for their support of the event & to the Bundaberg Touch Association who will once again host the event. I encourage all participants to take advantage of this coastal region and enjoy the sites and attractions that Bundy has to offer.”
My health for life Program Director, Amanda McNaught, “ said we are looking forward to supporting Queenslanders to create healthier habits at the Bundaberg Cup”.
“My health for life is a perfect opportunity for players, their friends and other supporters to get a free health coach – as their new team member. Funded by the Queensland Government My health for life is designed to help individuals discover ways of changing their day-to-day behaviour — that they can live with.”
